These 10 years, I have known quite a few Hong Kong, European, and American entrepreneurial teams who went to China to start businesses. They were envious of the market with a population of 1.3 billion and wanted to get a share of it, so they ran to China to set up companies. Many entrepreneurial teams have the same problem: they lack capital, expertise, knowledge, connections, and insight, but a few of them are motivated to start businesses anyway.

At least 50 entrepreneurial teams were seen, but only one or two actually succeeded. Most lasted less than a year or two and lost money and left. These people include "high-end entrepreneurs" with high academic qualifications, wealthy families, and several financing options; and "low-end entrepreneurs" who are grassroots, poor, and rely solely on their passion and hard work.

These people all ended up the same way - they all failed. Everyone wants to start a business, but they don't realize that entrepreneurship is already a life and death struggle. This causes many entrepreneurs to start companies with overly optimistic expectations, only to end up "buying lessons with money" in the end.

Only a very small number of people succeed, and the biggest difference between them and the failures is still people: successful entrepreneurs are definitely different from ordinary people, their vision, strategic thinking, leadership, action, and dedication are far beyond ordinary people. When Mr. E earned one billion yen a year as CEO of the company, he could travel on Econ flights, serving as a role model for his subordinates.

"Chaos breeds heroes" in times of industry or societal transformation and turmoil, opportunities abound and the requirements for entrepreneurial talent aren't as high. As long as you dare to take risks, there is a "possibility" of seizing the opportunity to become wealthy. However, as social structures gradually stabilize, past opportunities for success cannot be replicated. For example, developing an app.

The majority of apps that users around the world use now almost all come from the United States and China: such as Facebook, WeChat, Amazon, and Taobao, the fundamental reason being that these two countries have huge local users to support them. Of course, there are some exceptions such as Spotify in Sweden and Grab in Singapore, but these are exceptions after all, and their scale cannot be compared to the internet giants of China and the United States. Over the past decade, almost every demand you can think of has been met by an app. The start-up gap for apps (demand that has not been met by the market) has now almost closed.

When I decided to start my own business in April 2020, my idea was simple: "solve customer pain points." As a service provider, my focus is on nothing but that.

Make money for clients

Under COVID-19, all target customers have strong level 1 and 2 needs, but there are no existing service providers in the market. Of course, it's not a talent to see a piece of fat, it's a talent to eat it. Fortunately, with the strong support of two customers, there is time to train and grow the team. We also caught the good timing of 2021 to provide digital transformation for large customers.

"If I did the same thing from 2015-2018, it's likely to end up in failure." 「
